Did you know...

That there is a Digital Scrapbook Day? The Second Annual one is November 1st! I knew there was a National SB Day in May, but this one I never knew about until the other day...if you are a digi scrapper, there are all kinds of things going on, just check out your fave sites!
Been a little busy scrapping, got the bug...and it isn't one you wish would go away! LOL Here are a few pages, I need to force myself to get off of the computer and get to packing, Ashley is moving home next weekend and I have to clean out the scrapbook room-which USED to be her bedroom! I am totally excited she is coming home, but bummed I have to clean out the room (because of the work, and because I have to box up my playthings...)
Hope today finds you healthy, happy and enjoying some sunchine...it's a beautiful day outside, and here I sit. Huh.

Had to share this one...

It's a blast from the past...when I was a kid, my mom was a Campfire Girl Leader. One year (1979) we were Kiss in the annual Lamb Derby parade on a float...and we ROCKED THE HOUSE! It was really embarrassing, and we were a little scared...but we had a BLAST! It was so much fun up there air guitaring away, one of those moments we'll never forget.

I found these pics in my collection as I was looking for something to scrap...and I am glad I did!!!

Can you believe...

It is already the 21st of October-where does the time go??

Well, my daughter and the bf are moving home...so now I am giving up my scrapbook room temporarily. It isn't a huge loss for two reasons: I spend most of my time on the computer, scrappping and because it means that she is coming home and the baby will be HERE!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!

We've also been fostering some wittle kittens, orange male tabbies that were born on 9/11/08. We rehomed one on Sunday and are waiting to hear from a possible new home thru email...two people 'want' him, so one of them better hurry! Scott is becoming attached, and trying very hard not to.

It's Fall Y'all...

Hey there, it's been a little wet and chilly outside lately...one more excuse to scrap! LOL, no seriously-I need to clean house!
Anyhoo, here are a couple of new pages-haven't had much time to scrap lately with work and real life and all. I had to clean my computer really good, too, since it wasn't wanting to cooperate with me-kept telling my I didn't have enough memory. What's up with that? LOL...I ended up saving all of my zip files onto disks and it took 32 DVD's! Holy Cow! I got another hard drive on the computer, too, so I can move all of my digi scrapping stuff to it. Yeah!!

Awww, look at her!

On Scott and my 5th anniversary, Ashley had a sonogram and discovered she is having a girl!! So, in the next few months I will have a grandaughter...here are a few pix from the sonogram. So sweet-I never had any of these done when I was pregnant with any of my children, insurance wouldn't pay for it.
These are special little pictures--more to come, of course!

Well hello there!

Been a little while...always busy, even when not doing much! LOL
It is officially Scott and my 5th Anniversary today-woohoo, how time flies! We both say it doesn't feel like 5 years, like it should feel 'older'.

We got another cockatoo on Sunday, her name is Katie and she is a citron. She is so little compared to Squeaker-and so QUIET! Her previous owner said she was a screamer, well she apparently never met a muloccan! Katie also seems to not have been handled much or out of her cage-she is well behaved, but a little bewildered when we take her out. She doesn't talk much, other than 'hello' and something that sounds like 'katie'. We also got her cockatiel, as they had been together forever and he would have been quite lonely. So he is sitting next to the 2 girls I already had and Katie is in the front room with Mr Noisy (aka-Squeaker). Everyone seems to be getting along well-we've been keeping a close eye on them all and they are in their own cages otherwise.

Finally got a chance to do some scrapping, thought I would share...I am pretty sure nobody ever reads or looks at this blog, that I am sharing with 'dead air', but who knows-maybe I will be surprised someday and someone will say Hello. Till then, hope y'all have a good Fall!
